Huckleberry Mountain Campground

Huckleberry Mountain is a remote, primitive campground located just outside of Crater Lake National Park. As the name implies, there are many Huckleberry plants located near the campground. Deer and other wildlife can be seen wondering through, and the campsites are both well spaced and shaded. With it's close proximity to Crater Lake, about 7 miles south, it's a good alternative if the other campgrounds are full. It is also popular among off highway vehicle enthusiasts, with there are many OHV trails nearby. 

Most campsites include fire pits, picnic tables, and plenty of space for multiple tents. There are vault toilets located near some of the sites, and while there there is a water pump in the campground, the water is not potable. Also, with no garbage service, the campground is pack-it-in, pack-it-out. 

This campground is open May 15 through October 15.
