Born and raised in Oregon, the Pacific Northwest holds a special place in my heart. Growing up, I spent much of my childhood camping, hiking and traveling, which led to my deep love of the great outdoors. When I'm not teaching children (and adults) about the natural and cultural history of Oregon, you can find me outside on a hike, run, or other adventure.
