Farewell Bend Campground is a sizable campground located near Crater Lake National Park. The Rogue River runs behind the campground and many campsites feature a partial river view. The old growth forest of the area provides shade and a bit of privacy between campers. There is a children’s play area within the campground, and nearby attractions such as the Rogue Gorge, Natural Bridge and miles of hiking trails await.

There are 61 campsites at Farewell Bend that are suitable for anything from tents to trailers and RVs up to 40ft in length. No hookups are available, but restrooms with flush toilets and drinking water are available throughout the campground. All campsites have a picnic table, fire ring and grill.

There are some campsites that are first come, first served, but the majority of sites should be reserved in advance by visiting recreation.gov. Farewell Bend is open May through October.
