Meadowview Campground is a 100 site forested campground located a short walk from Pinecrest Lake and day use areas.
Set at an elevation of 5600', Meadowview is a large first-come, first-served campground located a half mile off of Highway 108. Sites are laid out along 4 paved loop roads with the 200 Loop containing the most isolated and quiet camp sites. Wide paved protected multi use paths connect the campground to the lake, and there are a couple short single track trails through the meadows area.
Each site contains a table and fire pit. Flush toilets and potable water spigots are located throughout the campground, however there are no showers available here. Each site has a small parking area large enough for smaller RVs, however there are no electric or water hook ups anywhere in the campground.
Managed by the Dodge Ridge Corporation, the campground is strictly monitored by hosts. Sites are limited to 6 people, and payment must be made at the entrance station. Meadowview also tends to fill up during peak season weekends, and often even on weekdays between Memorial Day and Labor Days.
Sites are spread out beneath the trees, which offer a feeling of privacy despite sites being packed fairly tightly into the available space.
Meadowview Campground is typically open from May through October. As the campground doesn't accept reservations and often fills up during peak season, campers should plan to arrive early to grab a site.
Payment is cash only.
