Departing from Paradise Inn, a short 0.4-mile long paved trail (the Skyline Trail) heads uphill into famed Paradise Park. The trail eventually will take you to the footbridge crossing over Edith Creek, where the waters tumble 72 feet and comprise the much photographed and revered Myrtle Falls.
To get the postcard shot, be sure to check out the falls early in the morning and at dusk, when the lighting is more desirable and tourists are more scarce. From the south end of the footbridge a short dirt trail veers off the main trail and leads to the vantage point where both Myrtle Falls and giant Tahoma are perfectly framed.
