Kelsay Valley Forest Camp is a small camping area located off Forest Road 958, a short distance from Lemolo Lake. The North Umpqua River flows just across the road from the campground, and several hiking trails are in the area. Of course the lake is a main attraction as well, with fishing, boating, water skiing and swimming being popular activities.

Kelsay Valley Forest Camp is a tiny campground with few amenities. However, the price is right (free). There are only 3 campsites here. You’ll find a picnic table and fire ring at each site. There is also a single vault toilet here. The 3 campsites are in the same area so you won’t have much privacy if you have neighbors.

The Kelsay Valley Trailhead Horse Camp is located a bit further up the forest road and offers more campsites (although not free) if the Forest Camp is full.
