The Conchi Natural Pool Trail is the shortest and most direct - and scenic - hiking path to reach the Conchi Natural Pool area in its distant location within Arikok National Park.
The Natural Pool is one of Aruba's most amazing destinations, and at 2.8 miles round trip, the hike via this route will save some distance over the 5-7 mile round trip hike beginning from the paved road at the park's Visitor Center.
The trailhead is reached from the end of Daimari Road, where parking is available before the steep descent to the ranch house below. A sign marks the single track track trail that traces the edge of the hill and wraps around to the plateau above coastline.
The path crossed everything from hard packed dirt to white sandy dunes and beach to rocky stone. Along the way, hikers will pass Daimari Beach and Boca Keto - both white sand sand beaches enclosed by cliffs with cerulean blue waves washing upon then.
Just beyond Boca Keto, the stone formation that encloses the natural pool comes into view. Visitors will need to climb the rocks to find the pool area.
It should be noted that there are no amenities of any kind or shade located along the hiking route or at the pools themselves. There is also no cel service at any point or along the majority of the dirt Daimari Road, so navigation to the parking area should be input before heading down the roads.
High clearance vehicles are required to reach the parking area. Those without high clearance can drive until the road gets rough and begin their hike from there.
While there is no park entrance station along Daimari Road, the parking area lies within the park and visitors are asked to visit the park's main entrance and visitor center and purchase park entry before proceeding to the Conchi Natural Pool Trailhead.
