Let's face it, Hawai'i is a paradise in many ways, with its massive chains of cloud-shrouded peaks, refreshing waterfalls, rocky cliffs, and tropical forests. However, its beaches are exceptional and are adored by all who visit, and Maui is no exception. In fact, this popular vacation destination boasts some of the most picturesque beaches in Hawai'i. Many have been heavily developed with large resorts and vacation rentals that line the broad, white sand beaches. These are perfect for families or the quick dip before making your dinner reservations. Other beaches are less frequented and make a perfect location for a picnic or just reading a good book under the trees. Some are more rugged but are home to hundreds of tropical marine species in the coral reef offshore just waiting to be explored by curious snorkelers.

• H.A. Baldwin Beach: Kahului, North Maui - The perfect place to spend a leisurely afternoon with the entire family. Calm waters on the east and west ends.
• Kahekili Beach: Ka'anapali, West Maui - Limited parking and typically busy, but a great spot for a picnic or barbecue by the water! 
• Ka'anapali Beach: Ka'anapali, West Maui - Crowded, and close to the resorts, head over for some good snorkeling or cliff jumping.
• D.T. Fleming Beach: Kapalua, West Maui - Rated one of the best beaches in America, head here for a day at the beach or a stroll along the trails.
• Kapalua Bay Beach: Kapalua, West Maui - Sandy bottom and calm turquoise waters make this beach a reliable paradise.
• Slaughterhouse Beach: Kapalua, West Maui - Calm swells in the summertime are ideal for swimming and snorkeling, and it lies in a marine conservation district.

• Kihei Beach: Kihei, South Maui - Limited access and amenities means this beach is perfect for a quiet day of relaxation.
