Falls Campground

The Falls Campground is a campground run by the National Forest Service. This campground is part of the Shoshone National Forest and is located 25 miles northwest of Dubois, Wyoming right off U.S. Highway 26 which is convenient for travelers visiting Grand Teton National Park. The campground has 54 sites, the sites on Loop A have electric hookups with 30-amp service while the Loop B sites are non-electric. The electric sites are $20 a night and the non-electric sites are $15 a night. These campsites are not reservable. Several of the electric sites are pull throughs. Fees are collected from early June until mid-September. Outside of this time (before the snow flies) the Falls Campground remains open but there is no water or garbage collection; the vault toilets remain open.

Each site has a fire ring, a picnic table, and a bear-proof storage locker. The campground has many mature pines and fir tree which offer some privacy. Note that water available at the campground is for filling jugs and the like, not for filling RV water tanks. There is not a dump station at this campground. There is no cell phone service here. The campground is located at an elevation above 8000 feet which means it can get cool overnight. The campground does have hosts during the summer season.

A highlight of the campground is the overlooks of Brooks Lake Creek Falls. Viewing areas of this stunning waterfall are located just the east of the campsites on Loop A. There is also a short trail near the entrance to the campground that leads to the overlooks.
