Brooks Lake Campground is located about halfway between the town of Dubois and Grand Teton National Park. This central location makes it a great basecamp for exploring, although the area around the campground is so beautiful that you may never wish to leave!
Fishing for trout at Brooks Lake and Brooks Lake Creek are popular activities here. Hiking opportunities also abound including the Pinnacles Trail, and the Yellowstone Trail that leads to Upper Brooks Lake and beyond.
Brooks Lake Campground is one of two campgrounds situated around the lake. Compared to the other campground (Pinnacles Campground) Brooks Lake is not quite as nice, and the sites don’t offer nearly as much privacy. It is $5 less per night however and still offers great camping.
The campground itself offers 13 campsites. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and bear box. Vault toilets are available within the campground, but drinking water is not.
The campground is open seasonally, usually mid June through early September. No reservations are possible, all sites are first come first served.
