Vermillion Valley Resort (VVR) is a wilderness resort situated in the Sierra Nevada mountains between Yosemite National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. The facility offers a wide range of overnight accommodations, including tent cabins, a hostel, a motel, yurts, boat houses, and camping sites. Also on site is a full-service restaurant and general store.

It is a family-friendly environment that attracts solo hikers and thru-hikers as well. The general store and campground are popular resupply spots for hikers on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) and John Muir Trail (JMT). As well as offering laundry and shower facilities (for a fee), they also provide one free beer to long distance thru-hikers. Depending on the water level, hikers can access the resort via trail from the PCT/JMT or by boat across Lake Edison.

You can learn everything you need to know about recreation, overnight accommodations, and hiking accommodations at https://vvr.place/.
