Rotary Community Park Beach is a spacious sandy shoreline along the edge of Lake Havasu centrally located in Lake Havasu City.
Edging the large park grounds of Rotary Community Park, the calm shore area has easily accessible parking along with a host of amenities located throughout the park.
The beach itself is sandy and spread across a half mile area front the Colorado River, with dramatic views of the mountains rising from the opposite banks of the river. There are several covered picnic tables along the beach, a protected swim area, a two mile walking path - the Shoreline Trail - that parallels the water, lots of scenic palm trees providing shade over the sand, and a mix of park amenities such as volleyball courts, playgrounds, additional picnic areas, flush toilets, and grassy lawn areas.
There is also a skatepark and plenty of parking throughout the park area, though these lots do tend to fill up on weekends.
The beach section has flat sand, and on the right days visitors can watch some of the jet skiers racing their watercraft around the lake offshore.
Rotary Community Park may be one of the premiere civic parks in the Lake Havasu City area, so you can usually expect at least a small crowd here. All amenities like covered picnic tables and beach volleyball courts are strictly first come, first served, so it may pay off to arrive here early.
The park and beach area are free of charge to visit and open daily from dawn until 11pm. Dogs are not permitted on the beach.
