The Grandview Lookout Tower is an 80-ft steel fire lookout tower located in Kaibab National Forest. It was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps as a method to help detect and control wild fire. The tower is part of a series of fire watch towers that survey areas within Kaibab National Forest.

Today, visitors can climb the 80-ft staircase and enjoy incredible views of the Grand Canyon as well as the San Francisco Peaks. The surrounding area features dispersed camping, a variety of hiking trails, and educational nature walks. This site is also a trailhead for the Arizona National Scenic Trail.

The Grandview Lookout Tower is located off of Coconino Rim Road which offers dispersed camping close to Grand Canyon National Park. Dispersed camping is also available in the area surrounding the tower.

DIRECTIONS
From Grand Canyon Village - Follow Grand Canyon National Park’s Rim Drive (AZ 64) to FR 310 (Coconino Rim Drive).
