Wish Poosh Campground is located in Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest on the southeastern shore of Cle Elum Lake. Each site is equipped with campfire rings, picnic tables, and grills. Wish Poosh Campground sits at an elevation of 2,300 feet amidst mountain and lake views. This campground is popular for its beautiful setting and the broad range of activities available. Enjoy fishing, hiking, swimming, and horseback riding in summer months, and come back during early fall to mountain bike or snowshoe in winter.
Wish Poosh Campground is a good choice for larger groups. Wish Poosh has around 30 campsites that can accommodate RV or tent campers. A handful of single sites allow up to six people, while the double sites allow 12 people. The campground also has drinking water, picnic sites, and both vault and flush toilets. Access to the boat launch is down the road from the campsites, and trailer parking is available for a daily fee.
Visitors may also be attracted to this area by the close proximity to Speelyi Beach. This wide, sandy beach on Cle Elum Lake has a beautiful forest surrounding it and is great for swimming and kayaking opportunities. Anglers also enjoy fishing for kokanee or rainbow trout.
Peak season for Wish Poosh Campground is from May to September, and the campground closes September 22. Access to the boat launch, beach, and picnic area is closed off by a fence during the off season. Reservations are welcome and must be made four days in advance. On weekends this campground requires a two night minimum stay. On holiday weekends, the minimum is three nights.
