Aspen Point Campground

Aspen Point is a sizable campground located on the northeastern shore of Lake of the Woods. There are many opportunities for recreation here on this large lake including fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. Fantastic hiking is also found nearby including the Pacific Crest Trail, Sky Lakes Wilderness Area and 9,498 ft Mount McLoughlin. Lake of the Woods Resort is also nearby and offers lodging, hot meals and more.

There are 58 campsites at Aspen Point. The majority of these are standard tent/trailer/RV campsites, but there are 7 tent only sites and 1 group site that can accommodate up to 100 people. Accessible campsites are also available.

Within the campground you’ll find restrooms with flushing toilets and drinking water. Each campsite also has a picnic table and fire pit. The campground also has a great day use area alongside the lake. Picnic tables, a swimming beach and hiking are found here along with a boat ramp.

Reservations at Aspen Point Campground can be made by visiting recreation.gov. The campground is open seasonally, usually May through September.
