Willow Lake Campground lies within Willow Lake County Park, providing a variety of camping options ranging from basic tent sites to electric/water hook ups to rental yurts and cabins on the 927-acre park.
Placed scenically beneath Mt. McLoughlin, Willow Lake is popular for its fishing and boating, along with its spacious day use lakeshore area. The campground has over 60 sites, amongst which are 32 basic sites, about 12 sites with water and electrical hook ups and 19 with full hook ups, 2 rental yurts and 4 rental cabins. Additionally there is one large group site located lakeside in its own area. With very little space between neighboring sites, the density might feel overwhelming during the busy season.
Bathrooms contain flush toilets, sinks and free showers. There is also an RV dump located in the campground.
Reservations can be made online, and are encouraged for those looking to camp during the summer months, when the campground is frequently at capacity, and a 2-night minimum stay is required on all reservations made for weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
While the full campground is open from April through October pending weather conditions, the campground reduces its capacity during the winter months to a single loop with 10 camp sites and the yurts and cabins.
Each site has a picnic table and fire pit.
While pets are permitted on leash within the campground, they are not allowed inside cabins or yurts aside from Cabin 3.
