Leppy Hills stands as the only current maintained mountain biking course in the West Wendover area.

The trails are a packed soft gravel that trace the hillside near the base of Leppy Peak, following a course rife with views across the basin and stretching as far as the western edge of the salt flats in Utah. The path is not ideal for bikes, as the soft gravel becomes slick if trying to turn on a downslope with any amount of speed, but it offers a great place to get out in the desert and easily feel removed from the casinos and interstate not too far away, whether on wheels or on foot.

A couple cutoffs allow visitors to do smaller loops if they'd prefer. All forks are well-signed. The path is also popular with hikers and walkers.

Vault toilets, trash cans and picnic tables are located at the parking lot. There is no shade at all along the trail, so be prepared for exposure to the sun and wind. The Leppy Hills trails provide a great escape for those in the Wendover area looking to get outside!
