Sedona Airport Scenic Lookout

The Sedona Airport Scenic Lookout is a viewpoint with fantastic views of western Sedona and the surrounding red rock formations.

The lookout is located near the end of Airport Road. There is a large parking lot here that offers plentiful parking, although on busy weekends it can sometimes fill up. There is a $3 charge for parking, with no time limit.

From the viewpoint you’ll be able to see across the western portion of the city, and to the stunning red rock formations that tower above including Capitol Butte and Coffee Pot Rock. Sunset is an especially magical time to visit.

The Sedona View Trail also takes off from here and can be hiked as a standalone trail, or connected with the Airport Loop Trail to form a longer hike.
