Blodgett Campground is a small, heavily trafficked, but serene area between the towering cliffs of Blodgett Canyon and Blodgett Creek. It is located at the mouth of Blodgett Canyon, which offers excelent day hikes or backpacking trips. This area is frequeneted by hikers, horseback riders, backpackers, fishermen, and rock climbers. The campground its heavily shaded, and being so close to the creek, affords a great opportunity to beat the summer heat.

There are picnic tables and fire rings at each site to allow groups to dine with ease. It is close to the town of Hamilton as well, which is quite convenient if you forget something and need to do a quick shop. Animals such as deer, elk, black bears, fox, and skunk frequent this area. There is a shooting range nearby, as well, so don't be alarmed if you hear gunshots.
