White Acres, Ridgeline, and Meadows Loop is a short hike located in Red Rock Canyon Open Space. This hike explores the White Acres portion of the park. This loop is 3.1 miles long and gains 383 feet of elevation.
This hike begins from a small parking area off of Gold Camp Rd. There are no amenities at the trailhead. Begin hiking north along the road. After 0.1 miles, you will join White Acres Trail. You will be hiking uphill. Over the next 0.1 miles, you will pass two junctions. Go left at both of these junctions. You will pass a pavilion here and continue uphill. As the trail switches back up the hill, you will enjoy views of white rock cliffs. After 0.7 miles, you will reach a junction. Take a left here onto Ridgeline Trail.
The trail flattens out here as you walk along a ridge. After 0.5 miles, you will come to a junction and go right to stay on Ridgeline Trail. Here the trail heads uphill again. This only lasts for 0.1 miles. Then you will reach a junction and turn right onto Meadows Trail. You will now be traveling downhill. On this section of trail, you will enjoy views of various red rock formations. Another 0.4 miles down the trail you will come to a junction and stay right on Meadows Trail. The trail then goes uphill for 0.2 miles until you reach a junction. Turn right onto Ridgeline Trail. After 0.1 miles, you will come to another junction and turn left onto White Acres Trail. Retrace your steps from earlier to return to the trailhead.
Red Rock Canyon Open Space is open for hiking year round. There are no associated fees to hike here. Dogs are allowed on this trail, but they must be on a leash at all times.
