Hideaway Park/Rendezvous Event Center Sledding Hill

Located in the heart of downtown Winter Park, Hideaway Park/Rendezvous Event Center is a popular community gathering place. During the winter months snow covers the large sloping grassy area in front of the amphitheater, turning it into the perfect sledding hill.

The sledding hill is a long and fairly gentle slope, but still has enough grade for sledders to get some speed up. It is groomed regularly and is completely free for the public to use. There are even free loaner sleds and tubes to use if you don’t have your own.

In addition to the hill there are restrooms, picnic tables and benches, and a fire pit.

Hideaway Park is the perfect, family friendly place to spend some time in downtown Winter Park!
