Whispering Falls campground offers excellent riverside camping along the North Santiam River and nearby hiking opportunities in the Mount Jefferson Wilderness Area. At least half of the 16 available campsites are located along the river, and many include private paths to the shore. The campground has two vault toilets and several faucets with potable water. Each campsite is tucked away among the towering trees, and all are adequately spaced from one another. The campground includes a short river path that parallels the North Santiam River. The campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Whispering Falls Campground is open from the beginning of May through the end of September.
