Hope Falls is a beautiful and secluded waterfall on Tenant Creek in the southern Adirondacks. A short hike through open hardwoods and occasional firs leads to a large pool with the approximately 50-foot sliding waterfall pouring into it. The stream babbles over small riffles above and below the falls.

From the trailhead, visitors will follow the wide path along East Stony Creek for roughly a quarter mile to a large wooden bridge. Turn right just before the bridge, following the smaller trail. This trail is on private land, but the owners have granted hikers permission to access the waterfall. Please stay on the trail and be respectful.

The falls will come into view after roughly a half-mile walk upstream. The large pool below makes for a scenic swimming hole, and those looking to extend their hike can follow the rough trail to the top and beyond.
