Tahoe City to Brockway Summit is a 20-mile point-to-point segment of the 165+ mile Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT). This section of trail begins in Tahoe City, CA and features scenic streams, verdant hillsides, and canyon and lake views. The TRT is a multi-use, non-motorized trail open to hikers, trail runners, backpackers, bikers, and equestrians for most of its length (mountain bikes and equestrians are prohibited from certain sections of the trail).

Starting in Tahoe City, the Tahoe Rim Trail climbs through groves of fir, cedar, and aspen trees. It crosses open hillsides covered in manzanita and continues past scenic overlooks with stunning views of Lake Tahoe. The trail descends towards Watson Lake and continues across a rolling terrain through meadows and forests and beautiful seasonal wildflowers.
