If you are looking for a short, easy and scenic winter walk in the Jackson, Wyoming area you may want to consider the Wilson Pathway. This pathway, in conjunction with the Jackson Pathway, serves to connect the communities of Wilson and Jackson. During the summer months you can bike or jog, but during the winter these pathways are perfect for a snowy stroll.

You can begin by parking at the large Stilson Ranch Parking Lot. From here the Jackson Pathway heads east and crosses the Snake River, while the Wilson Pathway heads west. Take the Wilson Pathway.

You’ll then follow this path across the flat landscape with stunning views toward the Teton Range. You’ll also notice a network of groomed nordic ski trails that parallel the path. If you’re on foot stick to the pathway, but if you are on ski then the groomed track is for you.

The pathway continues for just over a mile until you reach the Wilson Elementary School. This is your turnaround point. Retrace your steps back to the Stilson Ranch Parking Lot to finish the hike.
