Cascade Falls is a beautiful 25-foot waterfall located in the town of Osceola, Wisconsin. Osceola Creek spills over layers of sandstone to form the waterfall. It is easy to access this waterfall by parking on North Cascade Street (Highway 35) near 1st Avenue in downtown Osceola. Look at the wooden deck by a statue of Chief Osceola and head down a wooden stairway that has about 150 steps. There is a viewing platform that crosses Osceola Creek that provides unobstructed views of the falls. The water that spills over this waterfall makes its way to the St. Croix River. There is a trail that follows Osceola Creek down to the St. Croix. It is about a hundred-foot change in elevation from North Cascade Street down to the St. Croix River. There is another small waterfall, Geiger Falls, above Cascade Falls near street level. Cascade Falls is lit up at night with LED lights that change colors.
