Hi all! I'm a former classroom teacher, global technology consultant and community manager, and author of 50 Hikes with Kids: Oregon and Washington (out April 2018) and upcoming California (out in 2019). I'm a National Geographic Hands-On Challenge Teacher Alumni Australia, PolarTrec Teacher Researcher, and NOAA Teacher at Sea, and I love to geek out in my adventures, including video, geocaching, and 360 technology, and love species identification and inspiring little ones to adventure themselves. I also kayak, rock climb, trail run, backpack, and practice yoga steadily and love sharing gems with community.
