Originally from Oregon, Reed seeks adventure in many forms and places.
He is drawn in by the natural beauty of both the ocean and the mountains and driven by the activities that enhance those places. He has dedicated his life both professionally and personally to activities such as; snowboarding, skiing, backcountry travel, surfing, and teaching in these sacred places. Reed's education background includes; forestry, ecology, natural resource management, recreation resource management, and emergency outdoor medicine, coupled with over 2 decades of experience in adventure sports he enjoys sharing these experiences with others through, writing, photography, teaching, and adventuring.
