Timm’s Hill is the highest point in the State of Wisconsin with an elevation of 1,951.5 feet above sea level.  Timm’s hill is located in Timm’s Hill County Park which is in southeastern Price County near Ogema. There is a parking lot within the park for visitors wanted to hike to the top of Timm’s Hill. The trailhead is well marked and the trail is a wide dirt path with a steady climb to the top of the hill. The distance of the round trip out-and-back hike is about a third of a mile. There is about a hundred feet of elevation gain to reach the top of the Timm’s Hill. Dogs are allowed on the trail as long as they are leashed or under control.

At the top of Timm’s Hill there are two towers. The older steel tower is the Ogema fire tower and is off limits to visitors. Visitors are welcome to climb the new wooden tower for scenic views of the surrounding forest. This view is especially beautiful during the fall color season.
