Known best as the put-in location for floating the Snoqualmie River, Plum Boat Launch also provides summer heat sufferers with an ideal beach for escaping sweltering days, and of course, as the name implies, it also features a boat ramp for larger boats.

No fees or day passes are required here, so the small beach can fill up quickly. Should the sand be full of sun soakers, consider heading less than a quarter-mile up river along SE Fish Hatchery Road to Plum #1 River Access Point, where the Snoqualmie River bends to create a large eddy with deep and slow moving waters. Large granite rock shelves are perfect for additional sunbathing space.
