Jensen Point is a small-but-attractive family park destination on Vashon Island. Along the small shoreline area you will find picnic tables with charcoal grills, a boat ramp, and a swimming area with a floating dock. With a view to the northeast, you can barely see the tips of Seattle's tallest skyscrapers. This a very relaxed and somewhat secluded park area, which makes for a good change of pace from the bustling city. With the boat ramp and ample parking space, Jensen Point makes for a good location to launch a canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard for an afternoon outing.

The beach is not too expansive, so you can take a waterfront walk at this park, but after just a few hundred yards you will run into private beach-front property. Jensen Point is a destination better suited for the water sports and picnics.
