The Flanders Point Loop Trail is one of the many great hiking options found within Dimple Dell Regional Park. While this short hike does have an urban feel to it, you’ll also have stunning views of the high Wasatch peaks nearby.

This lollipop loop hike begins from the Wrangler Trailhead. Once parked, begin hiking on the wide, wood-chipped Dimple Dell Trail that leads away from the parking area. This trail gains a small but steady amount of elevation as it parallels the houses that line this northern side of the park.

Continue until you reach the signed Flanders Point Loop Trail junction. Take a right. The Flanders Point Trail meanders along offering great views down to Dry Creek below. You’ll also have fantastic views of the towering Wasatch Mountains to the east.

Along the Flanders Point Trail you’ll also see many small signs informing the hiker of the vegetation and history of the area. There is also a great rest stop with a bench about halfway through the loop.

The Flanders Point Loop Trail then reconnects with the Dimple Dell Trail. Take a left. Follow the Dimple Dell Trail all the way back to the trailhead.
