This is a very short hike from the parking lot, so it is great for families with young kids. The trail starts from the lower portion of the Windows parking lot area and is only a .25 mile hike to the base of the arches. As the name implies, there are two giant arches that are joined at one end resulting in the third largest arch in the park. The trail couldn't be any easier to follow as you can see the final destination from the parking lot, and the trail is clearly marked. This is a very crowded destination, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, this isn't the place for you. You're able to scramble on the rocks underneath the arches, which is worth the effort as you have some spectacular views when peering past the arches.

Pros
Beautiful natural formation. Easy to reach. Family friendly.
Expect heavy crowds. This is once of the greatest areas in the park and is also once of the shortest hikes to one of the largest playgrounds, so don't expect to have Double Arch to yourself, unless you're exploring at night!
