Calf Creek Campground is located within the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, and can certainly be described as a desert oasis. The campground offers 13 campsites nestled alongside Lower Calf Creek and amongst the impressive rock walls above.

The main attraction here is the Lower Calf Creek Falls Trail, a must-do hike! The campground makes a great base-camp for the 6 mile (round trip) hike. All campsites are first come, first served and the campground can be quite popular - so be prepared with a “Plan B” if you can’t secure a site here.

RVs and trailers over 25 feet are not recommended in the campground. Each campsite has a picnic table and a fire ring with grate. There are vault toilets and a charming wooden footbridge connecting the campgrounds to the day use area. Speaking of, there is a large day use area with picnic tables and a grill. There are also a few other picnic tables nearby including two that are shaded.

Calf Creek Campground is a beautiful campground and a great place to spend a night or two!
