Bridger Bay Campground is the largest campground on Antelope Island State Park and is the closest campground to the Bridger Bay Beach and Day Use Area, where visitors can take a dip in the Great Salt Lake. Every site has its own shade structure, picnic table, prep table, and fire pit. As the summer sun can be quite intense on the island, the shade structures are a much needed and appreciated amenity.

There are 25 primitive sites with no water or electricity available at the campground. You can find water at Bridger Bay Beach, the dump station, and the visitor center. There are vault toilets in the campground, and flush toilets and showers can be found at Bridger Bay Beach under a mile away. Sites 20, 21, and 22 are ADA accessible.

Bridger Bay Campground is home to the Lakeside Trailhead. This easy trail follows the shoreline for 2.8 miles one way around the base of Buffalo Point to White Rock Bay. This is a great birdwatching trail, and keep your eyes open for rabbits, mule deer, and free-roaming bison as well.
