Sesquicentennial State Park Campground is a spacious camping area made up of two loops containing 78 sites located immediately outside the central recreational area of the park.

The camping area is set off from the park, giving campers their own area and a good amount of privacy from park activities, though it is a quick walk from the campground right to the park's main features.

Each campsite in Sesquicentennial State Park has a picnic bench and fire pit with a grill. Additionally, some sites have water and power hook ups, and a few have sewage hook ups available. Camp sites are spread along a flat gravel road that meanders through the forest. Trees offer a good amount of shade coverage, along with a bit of privacy between neighboring sites. Also spread throughout the camping area are modern bathroom facilities.

With easy access to the trails and features of Sesquicentennial State Park, campers can access the Splash Pad, picnic areas and ball fields, the boathouse and kayak and paddleboat rentals, and the children's playgrounds.

Prices per site vary by the types of amenities available. Reservations can be made by phone or online. Many months require a two night minimum for campers, and a 14 maximum is in effect. Those without reservations can find current campsite availabilities posted on the entrance kiosk. Potable water is available, as are free showers.
