Savaneta Beach is a gorgeous, yet under-visited stretch of rocky and sandy beach heading toward the south of Aruba.
Tending to be mostly visited by locals, those stopping here will likely find few, if any other people here. And those you do encounter will often stay in their cars just taking in the views from the road perched a few feet above the water. There are a couple different small stretches of sandy beach here in between the trees and fossilized rocky shores.
Walk along the shore and you might find a small wooden platform, which is often used for weekend picnics, which seems to be the busiest time at Savaneta.
The water is clear blue, and generally remains pretty calm as long as you keep clear of the rocky shore. Savaneta isn't great for laying out at, but if your goal is to find a good swimming beach without any crowds, this is the spot.
There are no amenities of any kind at Savaneta. Accessing the beach requires driving across a small steep bridge and along the dirt road along the water. Both are generally passable by all vehicle types, however smaller passenger cars may want to be extra cautious - especially following wet weather conditions.
