In addition to the regular campground located at Silver Falls State Park, there is also a group campground located toward the northern edge of the park. Here you’ll find two group tent only sites, as well as a day use area, the North Falls Meeting Hall, and the Twin Falls Trail than leads down to the Canyon Trail and the park’s many waterfalls. This area was home to members of the Civilian Conservation Corps from 1935 to 1940. Young men were housed here as they constructed trails, roads, bridges, buildings and planted thousands of trees.

Each of the two group tent sites can accommodate up to 50 people (with a minimum of 9 people required). Ample room for camping is available at both sites. Picnic tables and fire rings are scattered throughout the campsites (site A has 11 fire pits, site B has 15 fire pits). A maximum of 25 vehicles are allowed.

Rates are $71 per night for 25 people, with an additional fee of $3 for each additional person. Reservations are available and can be made in advance here.
