Quinn River Campground is one of the most centrally-located campgrounds on the southern area of the Cascade Lakes Highway, although it is a surprisingly low-traffic campground. Just a bit north of Rock Creek Campground, Quinn River is located where the small, spring-fed river for which the campground is named meets Crane Prairie Reservoir at roughly the middle of Crane Prairie on the east (highway) side. The location is also reasonably close to campgrounds and resorts at Cultus Lakes and Twin Lakes. Quinn River also has its own trailhead to Osprey Point at the south end of the campground for those staying at the campground.

Like the other campgrounds around Crane Prairie, Quinn River Campground has a well-maintained boat ramp that offers plentiful day-use parking for those with a Northwest Forest Pass as well as picnic tables with fantastic views of Crane Prairie (albeit little shade) and fish cleaning stations. The campground itself is fairly basic, however. Hookups are nonexistent, and there is little more then a few vault toilets and water pumps here. It is usually open for the summer from mid-May, but it closes in early September, usually before the other campgrounds at Crane Prairie do.
