Olallie Lake Resort

With incredible views of 10,495-foot Mount Jefferson (Oregon’s second highest peak) and serene Olallie Lake, Olallie Lake Resort is a quintessential, rustic mountain resort that evokes nostalgic recollections of childhood vacations.

The resort is situated on the northern end of the lake, features 10 small and rustic cabins, two yurts (part of Paul Dennis Campground), a general store with limited provisions, a day-use picnic and fire pit area, and an old marina with row boats and paddle boats available for rent.

Details on the cabins:

• The cabins are very rustic and do not have electricity or indoor plumbing. Kerosene lanterns are provided, and bringing additional lighting is always recommend. Each of the cabins has a wood stove for heat, and split wood is provided by the resort. Potable water is available at each cabin via a spigot located just outside.
• Pots, pans, and a kettle are provided, and bringing your own cutlery and dishes is recommended.
• Small Cabins (#1, 7, 8): 1 twin bed with 1 roll-out single bed (sleeps 3 total).
• Medium Cabin (#4): 1 twin bed and 1 bunk bed (sleeps 4 total).
• Medium Cabin (#9): 2 twin beds (sleeps 4 total).
• Large Cabins: 2 queen beds (sleeps 4 total). 2 single floor mattresses are also available.

Details for PCT Hikers:

• Situated along the Pacific Crest Trail, Olallie Lake Resort is a key stopping destination for hikers. The resort is the only stop with provisions between Big Lake and Timberline Lodge.  Due to infrequent service and the remote location, however, mailing supply packages to the resort is not permitted.
• Campsites (free of charge) are located just a few hundred yards northwest of the resort at Head Lake.
