Ochoco Forest Camp is a small campground located off Ochoco Creek Road. Plentiful National Forest land nearby offers opportunities for recreational activities including hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, fishing and more. The Lookout Mountain Trail is located just across the street from the campground, and popular Walton Lake is only a few mile drive away.

There are six campsites at Ochoco Forest Camp. The small Ochoco Creek runs behind the campsites. There are picnic tables and fire rings at each site, and a vault toilet and water can be found within the campground. All sites are first come, first served. A group pavilion is located at the far end of the campground and can be reserved by clicking here. It is suitable for groups of up to 75.

Additionally, the Ochoco Ranger House is located near the campground and is also available for reservation. It is a furnished two story house complete with electricity, heat and water. At only $90 per night it is an excellent option for those looking to spend a weekend in the forest without “roughing it.”
