Fishermen's Bend Campground

Fishermen’s Bend is a large recreational area and campground located on the North Santiam River just outside of Mill City. Its 63 reservable sites are available, including multiple group camp and picnic sites, as well as two charming cabins. A plethora of outdoor activates can be enjoyed at Fishermen’s Bend, including fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, baseball, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, and more.

There are three distinct areas of Fishermen’s Bend. The Camp Loop is where the majority of campsites are. These sites can accommodate RVs and tents. All sites have electric and sewer hookups, with a few having water hookups as well. Access to flush toilets and showers is also nearby. The River Loop offers 14 campsites that are situated closer to the river. A few of these sites are tent only, with the others being appropriate for smaller trailers. The day-use area and boat ramp is also located near this loop. Lastly, there is the Group Loop which contains most of the group picnic areas and campsites. These must be reserved in advance. There are also two charming cabins available to reserve within this loop. Fishermen’s Bend is only open May through October, and it can fill up quickly. Reservations are highly recommended and can easily be made at Recreation.gov.
