Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center provides endless opportunities for outdoor fun for all ages. There are approximately 28 miles of trails, ranging from carriage roads to singletrack and doubletrack biking trails. The carriage road trails are the easiest, and they are wide and well-marked. The flat and gradually rolling terrain is great for the whole family, and a small pump track is perfect for beginner mountain bikers. An easy 2-mile hike brings you to Great Angel Cabin, where you’ll find picnic tables with a view. Whether you’re walking, running, or biking, there are trails to suit any ability level. Keep an eye out for wildlife and take in the views of Mount Washington and the surrounding area. The Great Glen Trails are also open during the winter, offering snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, fatbiking, and snow tubing.
In addition to the trails, Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center also offers bike rentals for both children and adults, mountain bike lessons, introductory kayaking classes, advanced whitewater courses, and guided wildlife kayak tours. Fees vary by activity. Check out the Red Barn Museum and the gift shop, and enjoy breakfast or lunch at Glen View Café in the base lodge. The dining room and porch have tables looking out at Mount Washington. The entrance to the Mount Washington Auto Road is across the highway, offering even more adventure for the family. Book a guided tour or drive yourself to the summit, and take in the breathtaking views from the highest point in the Northeast.

I visited in early 2021 for a snowshoeing trip and wrote a blog post on the experience here:
