Bear Brook State Park’s 101-site campground offers a scenic, family-friendly place to stay while adventuring in the area. Tucked back in the woods and on the shores of Beaver Pond, you’ll enjoy all that nature has to offer as well as some added amenities. Ice, firewood, and other essentials are available at the campground store, and there are restrooms with flush toilets and showers throughout the campground. The campground has a playground for younger children, a softball field, and a large play area for games close to camp. The small beach at Beaver Pond offers boat rentals and swimming, and an easy nature trail loops around the pond. If you’re interested in fly fishing, archery, hiking, or mountain biking, you’ll be happy to know you won’t have to travel far. Bear Brook State Park has two archery ranges and several historical points of interest, including the New Hampshire Antique Snowmobile Museum and the Old Allenstown Meeting House. Visit nearby Pawtuckaway State Park for even more recreational opportunities while in the area!
