Front Beach

Front Beach, a cute little beach located right on Beach Street in Rockport, Massachusetts, is worth a visit.

Should anyone need help in the water, there are lifeguards on duty. Round picnic tables and benches are located above the beach on the main street, which are great for sitting and enjoying the views if you don’t want to sit in the sand.

Located minutes away from downtown Rockport Village, you can walk on over to enjoy the local shops and restaurants. Also a short drive away is Bear Skin Neck, which is a local art colony that contains many unique homemade art pieces.

Parking in Rockport is minimal, especially for visitors. Front Beach is no different, and it has street coin-operated parking as the main option. There is a private parking lot across the street from the beach and another lot farther down the road that offers a shuttle, both of which are available on busy days.
