Grapefield Beach is a long stretch of white sand beach on Aruba's eastern edge.
Nestled between Boca Grandi and Rincon Beach, Grapefield's feature is that it doesn't tend to get crowded as it requires a bit more effort to reach. Accessing the beach from the south requires a high clearance 4wd car to get past some steep rutted paved slopes and then walking across some sand dunes. Alternatively the beach is reachable via a 2wd passenger car, though that requires driving along dirt roads to reach Rincon Beach, and then driving the mile or so south to Grapefield.
After walking over the dunes that create a nice buffer from any type of traffic noise, white sand sprawls out in either direction before lucid blue waters. Grapefield tends to get rough surf, so swimming is not recommended, though parts of the beach have a gentle slope into the water and wading near shore into the water is okay.
Grapefield has views of the Vader Piet Wind Farm to the north, and the landscapes of Sero Colorado Plateau to the south. There are a few abandoned fishing and camping shacks along the sand, but aside from that, this stretch is a mostly undisturbed pristine section of beach.
There are no amenities of any kind at or near Grapefield Beach. Visitors should be extremely cautious of turtles nesting in the dunes during nesting season.
