Dos Playa is a pair of scenic beaches located up a gravel road from the Central Activity Zone of Arikok National Park.
Composed of a pair of beautiful sandy cove beaches nestled between cliffs made of rough stone that protrude into the ocean, Dos Playa lies somewhat off the beaten path inside the park as the gravel road to reach the beaches requires a high clearance vehicle or a hike from the edge of the paved road.
From the parking area, visitors can walk out on the stone cliffs and watch the Curacaoan blue waters wash frantically against the cliffs walls before crashing into the shore. Stairs descend to the sandy beach, allowing visitors to head down and stand at the water's edge as the waves lap dramatically up into the cove.
The northern of the two beaches sees far fewer visitors as it requires a walk across the southern sandy cove to reach.
Dos Playa is also a sea turtle nesting area and during the right season, it's possible to see the tracks of the recently hatched turtles who have made their way back to the sea.
There are no amenities of any kind at Dos Playa. Dos Playa is subject to all national park rules, including entry fees and open hours.
