Winter Lodge is a 60-year-old family tradition in Palo Alto, ranked as one of the top ten outdoor ice skating experiences in the U.S. by Outside Magazine. In addition to a well-maintained outdoor rink, the lodge offers abundant seating with sofas, fireplaces, and overhead heating units. The lodge has a cozy, rustic feel despite being located in the heart of Silicon Valley and is a pleasant place to spend an afternoon or evening outside.

Winter Lodge maintains both an active class schedule and public skating hours as well reservations for large groups and private parties. An indoor rink is also available. Certain skate times are reserved for adults only, but most public hours are available to young and old alike. Be sure to check the schedule before going. Day passes are $11 per person and skate rentals are $5.
