Moraine Campground is a Forest Service-run campground that sits along Lee Vining Creek.

There are 27 camp sites, varying is desirability from shady and located right beside the creek, to shadeless and set immediately adjacent to the row of outhouses that serve the campground.

Overall, in an area dense with campgrounds, visitors would do best to consider Moraine Campground primarily as an overflow campground if there are no other availabilities around. The campground operates strictly on a first come, first serve basis. There is no water available at the campground. All sites are basic, with a table, fire pit and food locker.

Lee Vining Creek runs beside the camp. The campground is subject to the seasonal closure of Highway 120, which closes at the first snow, and reopens once seasonal conditions have warmed up again.
