Mammoth Mountain RV Park is located in the town of Mammoth Lakes, California. It is within walking distance of many stores and restaurants, making it a convenient location. Those looking for solitude, nature or a typical BLM/USFS campground experience will not enjoy Mammoth Mountain RV Park. There are however perks to the RV park, an important one being that it is the only campground open in Mammoth Lakes during the winter, thus making it a solid option for skiers and boarders enjoying an extended stay at Mammoth Mountain.
Mammoth Mountain RV Park offers 175 different sites. Of course your typical RV Park campsites are available featuring water, electric and cable TV hookups. These sites are paved and come with zero privacy. There are some better options however, including 49 premium campsites with 30 & 50 amp, water, electric, cable TV and sewer hookups. The premium sites are situated on dirt pads with pine trees offering shade and a little privacy, a big upgrade from the standard sites.
There are also 17 tent sites available, as well as 2 group tent sites that can hold up to 50 people. Two cabins are also available, and sleep four people. Note that they are sleeping cabins only, with no kitchen or bathroom.
Additional campground amenities include restrooms with showers, laundry, WiFi, indoor heated swimming pool and spa, rec room, playground, dump station, and general store with propane, ice, firewood, camping & RV supplies.
